16/06/08 Welsh WTF featured in Argus!
Apologies for the website being down for so long, we had a few technical issues to sort out, but it's all ok now. In Friday's South Wales Argus, the Association was featured in an article about our recent success at the Welsh Open Championships in Monmouth. 25/03/08 Grading and Competition Dates Formailised!
We have two important dates for students over the next coming months. The first is Monday April 21st, when the next grading for students will be held. If you are unsure whether you are grading or not, please see Alastair or Jo who will let you know. The second date to note in the diary is Sunday May 11th, when we will be holding our very own competition in Monmouth Leisure Centre. Squad training sessions will be running to help students fit in extra training in preparation for the competition, which is aimed primarily at novice child and junior players. Application forms can be downloaded here. With clubs from Liverpool, Plymouth and London all in attendance, it should make for a good day out. Please see Al or Jo for more info. if necessary.
6/02/08 New Graded Classes Up and Running!
Our new beginner / intermediate classes and advanced classes are now in operation, with students of different grades being seperated to allow a more focused and grade-specific approach to training. The class timetable can be found here.
2/10/07 New School of Excellence and Sparring Classes up and running!
Our new School of Exellence class run by Master Mark Allen began last Sunday and was a big hit with all those in attendence. The first 4-weeks are focusing on self-defence, and takedowns where the name of the game at the first session. Also, our new sparring class, aimed solely at preparing students for WTF competition, begins this Saturday at 2pm. 21/09/07 KIND Charity Fight Night Report
The Charity Fight Night was a huge success, with over 1000 pounds being raised for KIND. A full report and some pictures can be seen here.
4/09/07 KIND Charity Fight Night
The charity Fight Night for the Liverpool Charity Kids In Need and Distress is less than two weeks away. The evening will involve some of Britain's most elite WTF Taekwondo players, who will face up all in the name of charity! Both Alastair and John Cregg will be representing the Welsh WTF Taekwondo Association at the event. Video footage of the bouts should be available once the night has passed, so stay tuned!

28/06/07 New Summer Uniforms Now Available!
Our brand new summer training uniforms are now available for purchase. The uniform consists of a high-quality light t-shirt complete with the Welsh WTF logo on the front and font on the back, combined with jet black training trousers to produce a smart but lighter alternative to the traditional doboks during the summer months. 30/05/07 Medal Success at Southern Taekwondo Championships!
Congratulations to our very own instructor Alastair Eustace for winning a silver medal in the -72kgs Experienced category at the Southern Taekwondo Championships, held in Bournemouth on Sunday the 5th of May. Click here for a (late!) more indepth report!
